It’s important for you to feel good about it when you come in. So here are some safety measures we’ve implemented:

  • Plexiglass barriers have been installed for all member service counters and offices.
  • Hand sanitizer is available at all entry points and service areas.
  • We wear masks, and we ask that those who enter do the same. You may be asked to lower your mask long enough for us to verify your identity.
  • The number of people allowed inside will be limited in our offices.
  • Signs are on display to remind all to stay safely distanced.
  • Common areas remain limited, and we are cleaning common surfaces throughout the day.
  • Our employees are implementing self-check procedures and health reviews.

We appreciate your patience. We are also proud of our team and their efforts to serve you over the last several months.

April 3, 2020 - Update from RiverFall Credit Union regarding COVID-19

We continue to think of you and all our members during the coronavirus disease pandemic (COVID-19).  We want you to know that we’re not going anywhere, because at its core, our credit union is not a building or a business, its people unified for a common goal of financial well-being.

We’re always here for you.

These are difficult times for everyone, and we know that some of your biggest payments are due soon.  If you’ve been economically impacted by this pandemic and are concerned about your bills, our staff is dedicated to working with and helping you through these uncertain times. Now, more than ever, we are here to support our members.  We are currently offering 30-day payment extensions or skip-pays on loans. If you would like to request a payment skip or extension, simply reach out to our loan department.

Government action that may impact you.

The CARES Act was recently signed into law and includes several provisions aimed at helping Americans stay engaged in the economy through the month of April and help you with your bills. Here are some highlights that may directly impact you:

Stimulus payments:  Most Americans are eligible to receive a stimulus payment from the government in the next few weeks. These payments are based on your most recent tax filing. Members who are receiving Social Security retirement and disability payments will also receive a stimulus payment. To learn more about these payments and to see if you’re eligible, click here

Unemployment Payments:  If you file for unemployment benefits, you can expect an extra $600 per week on top of your normal unemployment benefit for the next 4 months as a result of the CARES Act. The unemployment benefit time period has been increased to 39 weeks.

We’re ready if you need any additional assistance

If you want to learn more about COVID-19, visit the CDC's resource center or our state health department website. Please stay informed and take care of yourself and those around you.

Remember, all RiverFall locations remain open with drive thru service, and you may call for assistance during our normal business hours.  If you don’t already have it, we can easily assist you with set up for online banking and mobile access including mobile deposit.  We strongly encourage you to take advantage of these safe, secure and “contactless” means of accessing your account.  We understand what essential means, and our dedicated employees leave the safety of their homes each day to be here for you.  Let’s all do what we can to keep everyone safe.

Message from RiverFall Credit Union regarding Coronavirus Preparedness - Temporary Closure of Lobby Areas

With the increasing concerns and new information regarding the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we want you to know that RiverFall Credit Union is proactively taking measures to ensure continued operations while voluntarily assisting our city by limiting “person-to-person” contact.

Beginning Wednesday, March 18, 2020, the lobby areas of all RiverFall offices will be closed.  The credit union will remain full service at all locations.  Extra drive thru lanes, outdoor ATMs, online/web services and phone services will be available during regular business hours.  Below is a complete list:

  • Drive thru service for all banking transactions – Some members may be asked to pull into credit union parking for transactions that may take extra time.  A credit union representative will come to your vehicle to assist you.
  • ATMs – ATM service will remain available at all RiverFall locations.  Remember, members with Kasasa™ reward checking receive unlimited ATM fee refunds nationwide each month if they qualify (see our website for full details), so ATM access has never been more convenient.
  • Shared Branching – Shared branching locations may remain open in your area.  Call 1-888-SITE-CO-OP (888-748-3266) to locate a branch or 888-837-6500 for personal assistance, 24/7.
  • Night Depository – You may continue to make deposits overnight at all RiverFall locations.
  • Electronic Services – Full account access will remain available via online banking and with our mobile appBill pay (pay your bills online), remote deposit (deposit checks via the mobile app), and phone banking are additional service options as well.
  • Instant Issue Debit Cards – If you need a replacement, no worries.  During this time, we will issue your new card and deliver to you via drive thru.

If you need to be granted access to electronic services or want to request assistance in any way, please call us at 205-759-1505.  Safe Deposit Box access will be made available, but please call ahead.

We are committed to protecting the health and wellness of our members and our employees while continuing to provide the financial services our members need.   Please be extra vigilant at this time and remain alert to possible scams.  We will never call you and ask you for personal information,  and also be wary of emails that purport to be from the CDC (Centers for Disease Control) or WHO (World Health Organization).
